I Agree! APT share price rockets up 7% today whereas their partnered agreement, Westpac, down 1%??... APT just has that cult following and the buyers aren't afraid to get in at any price. On the other hand, ZIP will just keep going about its business and diversify as per this mornings (already known for a week by the majority of us) announcement. Eventually the SP will follow for ZIP.
Just goes to show that HC chat really has no affect on the SP. We've all known about this but the share price stayed stagnant after it's usual fall. As soon as it becomes market sensitive on ASX it's as if no one knew... lol
Personally, I am glad it hasn't rocketed up 30% like its last big announcement (eBay - Zip Business deal) so the shorters can't take advantage. I have full faith in the Company and its strategy even if I don't fully understand why they didn't take up the offer with Westpac themselves. Their focus is more global and not wanting to be tied down to look like a bank.
As I've said, bring on 2021 and what the share price will be! Very excited for the future.
