That is the most salient point of your post.

I was shorting it from various levels from $8-9 till I announced I had closed all my shorts at $5.20 because in each case the chart suggested that position and B I was pretty sure CVI investments were driving the price lower to $1.84 to maximise the conversion on their $100 million convertible notes.

i took more shorts at $8.43 and $8.38 closing at $7.20 and $7.53 but the strength of the rebound has caused a re-think

However the GameStop squeeze has hedge funds seriously reconsidering short positions and Peter Grey played a blinder lining up several interviews spruking the undervaluation to APT and Affirm.

So now with the $28.90 target in the mind of investors the mentality has switched from sell the rallies to buying the dips, making it a very difficult stock to short when previously it was like taking candy from a baby.

Quadpay will probably get away with this $1 per payment fee for another 6-12 months but don't underestimate the power of the Wall Street big banks who issue credit cards who will lobby Washington for change including forcing Quadpay to declare the $1 per payment equates to 50 per cent annualised interest.

Make hay while the sun shines I won't be looking to take a short position any time soon unless I see a significant sell off from 9.45 level.

Fundamentally I can never see them generating the profits to justify the market cap but I'm not in the business of arguing with the market and it would be good to see all the guys on here who have kept the faith be suitably rewarded.
