Yeah I like to set targets to take out the emotion of buying and selling. I never try chase the market! Set the price you are happy to buy and wait til it reaches the price you are happy to sell at. If you don't have to sell, DON'T! I would only ever think about selling at a loss if the company looks like going belly up. But fortunately I have never invested in a company that has headed in that direction - touch wood!
I have a small parcel in OPY (4000 units) and the talk is very bullish on them this year. I think ZIP is in a far better position to see multiple gains compared to OPY. but I think for a small player, they could give you some good returns still. I think they'll eventually be bought out in the long run.
