the entire Nasdaq 100 moves according to, obviously, the 100 stocks within the index, but also a lot due to the macro conditions in the US. inflation rates, employment rates, trade issues etc. all these factors influence the Nasdaq and so the movement of the Nasdaq are a good indicator of the markets response to macro conditions.
yeah but, come on - the Nasdaq influences every single tech stock in the world to some degree. if the Nasdaq makes a new ATH - then the Aussie tech scene will love their bullish views and start smashing up too.
Anyone knows that the US market controls the world
scene. let me show you by saying that if the Nasdaq of red tonight, I would almost guarantee that Zip will be red too - just like today.
