There was always going to be a bump in inflation coming out of the pandemic... we would be coming from a ridiculously low base. The question is would that would that persist? I don't think so at all. Central banks did everything pre pandemic to get some inflation but failed. I'm not about to think that a global pandemic will solve the pre pandemic low inflation problems.
