Yep, it's a much better logo than afterpay's and, it works as a device- it's both clean and modern with good colours and, it's friendly. The afterpay logo represents chains and bondage to debt imho.
Combined with tap and go in a working app, the whole Zip thing works as package.
Recall when Masters popped up to try and derail the Bunnings express- Masters branding was bloody awful. Simple things like blackboards pointing you to sales and bargain bins is what Bunnings excels at, while Masters just forgot all about it.
