Overall margin would be down with tap and zip for sure, however adding revenues with lower margin is still better than no revenue. Plus it may add more customers.
But it could also hurt zip when customers using tap and zip instead of zip barcode when shopping at shops that partners with zip. Because tap and zip is more convenient than scanning the bar code from zip app.
it's a two way thing I guess.
I think Quadpay would determine how far zip could go, let's wait and see.
