correct ... you do not own the asset for CFD's, the price however is based on the underlying asset i.e. the share ... IG also provides a share account, which is the same as e.g. using commsec
In essence the diffs between the two is if you buy zip through e.g. commsec, you own it and if the price go down you cannot lose more than your initial purchase price ... it does not work like that with CFD's
anyways, we are clogging up the thread and I have to focus on something else
