While I'm sure the source code can be changed to be able to lift the capped limit of a certain crypto, it would jeopardize the essence of the entire reason for the swift, if it ever happened. So it'd be a pointless change for a country to make if they ever did adopt a crypto as their currency. I mean why wouldn't they just stick to their old currency if they were going to make that change.

Which I guess also raises the question of what's stopping them from not printing money now anyway? Nothing. So crypto will never take over to the extent that some people want it to.

The whole decentralization thing is stupid. I can't stand these people who grow up in first world and amazing countries and then try their hardest to take away from the system that gave them so much opportunity. It's like teenage rebellion in adult form.

Yeah it's not a perfect system, but it's better than any make believe systems crypto offers because they aren't real.
