trend reversal, though a hammer with a white tip indicates a more bullish signal. also indicates that a support level has been reached and no sellers willing to sell any lower.
Would have preferred a bullish dragonfly doji as it would have been a good indicator of the likelihood that the floor has been reached but hammer is the next best thing i guess.
