Get yourself a copy of the "Market Wizards" or its sequel by Jack Schwager. This is a book of conversations with Americas top traders. This will give you an insight into how these people think and the mistakes they made along the way.
There are other books that discuss how you should think as a trader. This has nothing to do with systems or charts but all about the difference between a winner's and a loser's thought processes and moving thought into action.
Search these out before going too far.
