Personally, I think some investors worry way too much about gaps.
IMO gaps only get filled because of natural volatility and the probability that that volatility will fill them.
They do not always get filled and often even if they eventually do get filled (months or sometimes years later), many traders can miss very large moves in the mean time waiting or hoping for gaps to be filled.
