Well if you want "high IRR projects etc"- high margins, very low capex very high grades, excellent metallurgy, strong exploration upside, near term production, low sovereign risk; you have it all with ABU.
ABU doing poorly today- don't just look at today. One day of no move means little. ABU strongly outperforming quite a few producers let alone explorers, over the last 6 months, 1 year, three years. Many producers still close to, or beyond 50% down from last years highs. Look at the ABU chart over a three year period and compare to many producers. NCM is actually down 23% over 3 years, ABU is up roughly double from its average 2009 and 2010 price (and much stronger of its 2009 lows). ABU since this years lows is up 48% (NCM 24%, PRU 16%, AQG 13%). There are a few better performing producers but ABU has done very well against its peers and even against many if not most producers. A relatively strong performer delivering results.
