I don't mind OBV but like using it with the average price than just the close.
But to me just what the volume trend is by itself is the main thing. Eg, ABU has been trending up on volume since Jul 24. That trend possibly broke down on Oct 10, but Friday was a strong volume day (on an up day) so it will be interesting to see where we go.
A pundit I respect predicted the gold pull back from US1780 to 1680 back when the price was at 1780- the run to 1780 was a bit quick for him- so it will be interesting to see if 1710 forms a base or not.
