ABU doing poorly today compared to most other goldies (most up 3-4%), which is disappointing. I have been wondering of late if the HUI is still a good indicator for the broader gold industry (eg juniors like ABU), or if it is only reflecting insto buying of majors, given many of the top global gold companies have recently made announcements specifically stating a renewed focus on shareholder returns, positive cashflows, high IRR projects etc.
