Last night
I went to a party
and phoned up a hooker
just to have a partner
for the big euchre tournament.

Last night
I shot Drano
in front of an old computer
and sent an e-mail
to Ginsberg's ghost.

Last night
I smoked cement,
played poker with Jesus,
lit firecrackers
with Nero.

Last night
I called upon Satan
for a pack of cigarettes, and,
last night, I found
god, then forgot
where I placed him.

Yes indeed, last night
was an uneventful evening.

But today, today
I shall live
starting with a latte
from the downtown cafe.

....and next week I might buy OXR 20% below what Goblin suggested was a good price!!!!!!!
