There are a lot of Canadian owned mines in Mexico, dare say they send all their assays to Canada, so the lab would be experienced doing work on samples from this region. There is also the nearology factor as apposed to sending them back to Australia, I've also been told ( by someone who holds a position as head of exploration in another company)that the lab sends the bulky samples back to the company after testing is done so there is cost involved in sending and receiving the samples also.
