Since I have no problems understanding the fundamentals of ado and the near term deals that will cement the long term future of the company can is ask a question?

Forgive my ignorance but a gap is caused when price hasn't traded at a particular price level

Eg. 21 cents was the high and the next day the low was 22cents so price didn't trade at 21.5 cents - since price trades at half cent increments.

So can the experts tell me why the gap is apparently not closed even though price has traded back down to 21.5 cents?
