Something else. Its been a catch cry for poorer countries in climate negotiations to call for help to tackle their emmissions with richer countries expected to provide access to the technologies for free. Ive always wondered how that request pans out in free enterprise and listed companies who hold patents and have share holders etc. Ive come across thecoming answer to this. All the development banks ( including Turkey ) have announced recently they are increasing there funding for solar energy project.by many billions. All of them. So the actual tech isnt a freebee but the funding and access will be provided at a wopping discount rate. The Turkish deal is a template project and if successful may very well be replicated in a few other locations. Just musing.
