Kempfield is part of a regional group of volcanic hosted massive sulphide (VHMS) deposits in eastern and central NSW. Woodlawn averaged over 1g/t Au; Captains Flat averaged over 2g/t Au; Lewis Ponds has resource grade about 4g/t. These projects have all been seen as base deposits but there is significant by-product gold. IMO Kempfield is most likely to turn up a gold enriched base metal deposit at depth below the silver - barite resource already defined.
Lots of buying on the rumour and I feel I have missed the boat. Maybe I will tap into the selling on the news if it is only average.
