Well, not phony in any true sense that the order does not exist there in the sell queue at this moment. But what is often the case is that the sell order will be pulled before it is ever filled, and was only placed into the sell queue for the psychological effect... i.e. "Oh boy, there's a 5M sell order at 1.5c... I think I should get out at 1.4c". And perhaps it is the big seller waiting in the buy queue all along. Perhaps, of course.
