Nah as per my understanding and I have checked with the accountant too, if you can justify to ATO that the parcel/ number of shares you sold were the ones bought few days ago and your long term hold is still there from previous month than it’s no problem. Problem comes when the number of shares bought and sold are not equal but even then you can explain to ATO what you did. There is no such rule as first come first out.
