Actually... The Livent results (and conference call) indicated that the
temporary issue for their customers lies in the production of higher grade batteries that utilise the higher grade Hydroxide. The manufacturing processes being used to make these new gen batteries needs some modification to meet specifications.
ie. Normal teething problems.
ie. The demand is there for the batteries that contain higher grades, but the manufacturing is where the issue is being seen.
But all the "reports" of the Livent results by the usual media outlets (with all their extreme bias) made careful selections from the
actual wording to indicate this "lower demand" as the major factor... as usual. Nothing sus there...
In fact there really isnt even much of a wait for these updates according to Livent!! When manufacturers get it right the demand will take off again, pushing prices back up and likely to higher levels than the last peaks imo.
With Volkswagen starting to take deposits for their brand new
ID.3 electric vehicle, we will see pretty soon just how much demand there is. The first of many planned by VW to shape the EV revolution.
Do you really think the share prices of Lithium's like GXY will wait at these lows until the future is set and prices are back in full flight?
I bloody doubt it.
Shorts levels falling off a cliff speak pretty clearly. The current game is coming to its end. We could very likely see a race out the door if much more pressure is applied to those that have started covering in earnest.
Meanwhile, we have an independent report released by Gilberto showing why Lithium Brine is superior to hard rock... but we all knew that anyway. And the environmentalists will already be fully aware how much less pollution is created in the Brine process compared to Hard Rock, and isnt that the whole point?
...Meanwhile GXY continues on its path, cashed up and moving forward with the best undeveloped Lithium project in the world, right on track for production just in time to meet the expected meteoric rise in global EV demand.
I'll happily continue to wait.
Well wait and accumulate that is.
So how long are they going to leave this at these bargain basement levels? Or has the run back out the door already begun? Staring with the usual slow, backward steps out the short door in the hope none of their fellow shorts notice? Lol.
Something something fear, something, be afraid, something, scary, something, something something...
Yawn.
