Along with the normal type of manipulation you probably have interests that don't want EV's and other associated technology to take off hammering it for all it's worth even if it means losing millions. If they can invest millions to suppress an emerging market then that's just chump change for them while protecting their multi-billion dollar industry. Quite amazing how lithium stocks at times get hit hard with no real catalyst, as if by magic.
