Well done, Sydneyguy for that frank assessment of the quarter. You stated facts and thoughts without the emotion of some and you paint a real picture of the challenges faced by GXY (and the broader Li industry).
Bottom line is not going to look great at the end of the quarter because of the rationale you have put forward. And, the market makers/ analysts will drive the share price accordingly.
The key will be what else Simon Hay puts out with this report - most importantly the outlook. If he decides to take the AT approach and say very little, then we will feel a great deal of heat in the share price over the next few weeks.
However, if Simon can generate some optimism or positive sentiment for the future outlook then perhaps the market will respond with some renewed buying of stock and we will see some share price appreciation.
Essentially, this is where Simon needs to earn his coin and show how we will get through and prosper despite all the negativity in the market.
