There is vested interest here. We share very similar parallels with Tesla.
1. Those that are trying to protect an established market.

2. Those that do not understand disruption

3. Those that do not understand the number of retail longs that understand the disruption coming and what this means in a few years time. I and many many others are not investing in GXY for today's price, tomorrow's price or next years price. We are investing in a price 5+ years away. So many holders are silent.
Some people are simply following the big money. It is the same question in reverse when people purchased GXY at $4. Why buy at $4, but too scared to by at $1? It is at $1 that you should be buying at and not $4. I was nowhere near the stock at $4, but purchasing at $1 is bliss! In reverse the smart shorters are the ones that shorted at $4 and staying away from further shorting at $1. The big guys pretty much know what they are doing, they will take profits before anyone else knows what has happened. It is the inexperienced ones, the ones that have not been burnt multiple times in the market before that will release what has happened before all the big guys have already run for the hills. The big difference is inexperienced holders can only lose 100%, inexperienced shorters can lose a hell of a lot more.
As I have shown mathematically many times, as long as the long term narrative is up, longs make a lot of money accumulating on the way down thanks to the efforts of shorters.
If this stock gets to $10 in 5 years time, I will write a thank you letter to the short community thanking them for the opportunities that they have presented to me as a long in GXY!
We have long talked about how the covering will take place. Sooner or later (this might just be a bounce who knows) but eventually we will learn the answer to that question.
If A40 is picked up for a steal and if SDV plans are modular, cheaper, and quicker as predicted and need no capital raise we might find out sooner rather than later.
It's been a great day for holders, lets hope this momentum can continue.
