If "shares move up hugely" there's a speeding ticket. I disagree this is "standard manipulation" - the degree is much bigger.
I also disagree that "everyone" thinks up is correct and down is corrupt - I think most shareholders are more intelligent than that. And personally I'm not feeling cavalier about my paper loss here - or anyone else's for that matter.
