In business it's very simple:

-You can have a 100 billion idea but if you don't have resources to extract value from it: You can extract 0 or peanuts value from it before someone beats you to it and takes it away.

-If you have a 100b idea and exchange 30% ownership for resources to extract value from idea = You can extract $70 billion value out of idea for yourself.

It is very simple but most people that are used to getting paycheque and saving have a very hard time getting their head around the concept
