Also if you haven't seen it, watch the movie Wall Street (the original, first one)
Watch it a dozen times. Right down the quotes and understand what they mean.
Once you GET IT you'll have a better understanding on how the market works.
We are just spectators at an event we cant control. All you can do is play in the game, but you cant control the outcome.
Somebody wins, somebody loses.... Its a zero sum game.
