Why bother with centralised power except to subsidise large scale industry like Aluminium etc unless of course people are happy being slaves to the corporations forever.
Localised power generation from wind and solar with battery storage will give power to the people.
I wouldn't say no to a little Mr Fusion reactor in my back yard to dispose of the food scraps...
