Total short volume as at 31 August: 11.67%.
Total daily short volume was 9% yesterday. This is the lowest daily traded short volume in a very long time.
It tapered down nicely from the 30% level down to 20%, to where it is now over the past week.
The highest daily short volume in the last month was ~40%. This was around the time it broke below the bottom trend line of the symmetrical triangle temporarily.
It would be good to see an announcement to shift the short positions down to a total of 5-6%. We haven't been at those levels for several months now. I believe the last time was December/January.
2018 Mt Cattlin pricing, Sal de Vida offtakes/JV, James Bay DFS and funding are the ones to watch out for by year end.
