Not current or relevant to the assertion of a 'rising wedge'.
Have a closer look at 'your' chart and you will see the alleged high volume sell off was not present on the left shoulder or the supposed head.
The spread of the bar was comparable to the volume on that day and it closed well above the open and then continued to make higher highs and higher lows.
An alternative view would be the SP transitioning through a parallel channel.
Some balance between bulls and bears on the last candle so next week will determine if the SP can maintain momentum, go sideways or pullback for a breather.
