That could take a while.
I've seen speculation on takeovers from the likes of Rio Tinto but they have comparatively far less experience in mining lithium and brine processing. So if they took over Galaxy they would possibly have a harder time finishing the construction already underway.

A safer option would be to let the construction complete, see that it is working properly, then go in for a bid. Of course, by then I would expect that there would be a flood of competing investment resulting in the mother-of-all-short-squeezes.

My opinion is that the support will be tested as per any other stock with insto buy triggers set around $3.00 it will either hit that again and up from there or retail will send them a message but until then GXY looks to me like it's in accumulation mode until the instos are full.
