ok this should settle any "tea leaf reading" arguments.. ive shown you price action, ive shown you fibbonacci retracement, ive mentioned volume... I will post one more pic to illustrate - as clearly as possible - what is actually going on. No bias involved. Here it is as plain as I can be so as not to frazzle too many brain cells...

You should see a red channel; which the SP will have much difficulty getting through from all the trapped traders running at a loss since the DOWN TREND from mid January - you will also see the spring in march and the upthrust yesterday with an inability to get through again today..

You can take it or leave it.. You can fundamentally invest or technically trade.. Haters give me motivation especially when they rant and I have the experience to know Im right and let the SP prove it.
