Shipping unprocessed ore is a waste of shareholder money. Looking at recoveries, even if their processors in China are getting 60%
That's 40% wasted shipping tonnage
I have never heard of a more inefficient way to securing lithium.

But it just shows that the buyers are getting desperate and are willing to pay a huge premium for concentrate. Yes, add the cost of inefficiency of this deal in and the price of spodumene goes up 40-50% from US900-1000 per tonne

And the way MinRes just digs up unprocessed lithium ore and sells it as if it's iron ore domonstrates they have zero knowledge in refining spodumene
Lithium is a specialty chemicals operation
Digging it up is the easiest part
Refining it actually needs industry experience
MinRes unfortunately is another pump and dump scheme to me
