Do you think the capital group who bought in for millions at 85c and would have a very strong investment thesis would just be happy to sell out at 60c if Ron offered it?
Yes, I understand that if the price fell to 40c, then 60c would be a reasonable takeover premium, however there are many companies/boards that would reject such a premium because they believe that the share price doesn't reflect the true value, as Richard Irving and Henry Charrabe have said many times from memory.
