Calendar year revenue for Jan to Dec 2018 is guided at $105 to $115 million USD.
$75 million USD of this is already in signed contracts in backlog.
$30 to $40 million will be expected from recurring revenue from after sales services/spare parts, some from non-competitive state tenders, and some from other projects in the pipeline.
The is potential for upside from any new deals that get signed above expectations, such as the $100m African project due in Q2, above expected interest from Chinese partners, newly released products, higher than average contract wins, and higher than expected growth.
The importance for 2018 guidance was to release a figure that is achievable and shows good growth, while not creating an unrealistic target if goalposts and timeframes are shifted.
$25 million USD of ($95 mill) backlog carries into 2019/20.
