Seems a bizarre transaction in a day of turbulence in the markets.
Doesn’t make sense to me, as if it didn’t get done today the share price probably sinks 5-10% like everything else and they pay $50-$100k less for their position. Possibly even less if US market tanks again tonight.
If announcement occurs in next couple of days then wreaks of insider trading And should be investigated.
