To be honest I don't think there is much value in drawing lines on a chart that simultaneously covers the old EMC and the new FLC together. FLC is a much bigger, more complex and more diverse company than EMC was and there have been significant structural, financial and management changes. They are completely different entities.
Today's announcement was very good, especially if you're willing to buy shares now and put them away for a couple of years. Perhaps not such good news for the short-termers hoping for a quick fix but that's too bad.
