There's always going to be indicators that support bullish or bearish signals. Those clever enough to combine their particular strategy with competent risk mgmt, ie stop losses and profit limits are simply aiming to exploit probabilities.
Nothing's 100% certain, including fundamentals. If they were, there wouldn't be a register of shareholders sitting on losses for 3 years.
