Well, we entered that magical RSI zone yesterday - sub 34. (1st time since 10th Dec)
The last 7 times it has happened we have seen SP appreciation, ranging from 12 to 89% (av 40%), in timeframes ranging from 10 days to 4mths.
And yet in that 22 mths, we haven't moved a zak. The SP has moved up and down in the interim, bobbling between under 30 and low 60's, as those shorter term investors do what they do riding the sentiment, and with us longer term brigade roaming somewhere between the wringing of hands and high fiving.
Makes me wonder about the futility of it all. Whether to move away from the passive-aggressiveness of LT investment, and have some real thrills and spills with shorter term stuff.
