contrarian view: China might emerge more powerfully from this in a years time than many other neighbouring economies. Looks like they can get the R0 value down to maybe something like 1.2 (guess) rather than 2.6 to 4 in Iran and Thailand who are unlikely to be able to quarantine. Getting that R0 value down is going to be critical and if they can keep some production even going at 60% while the ROW has massive disruption and uncertainty, they may well end up as a very solid resilient economy by comparison ready to bounce.
