    Can you elaborate on what you believe is occurring here?

    They suppress the price by offloading 1mil shares? To what end, buy them back cheaper?

    If they need to accum more at lower price than 1mil + enough to make a profit on the manipulation. It seems like a risky strategy as that is likely to drive the market up, potentially significantly more than the amount they drove it down.

    Open question to all;

    Also I hear a lot of talk about 'instos' manipulating the price in this way (not you, but other threads) Is this pure sophistry?

    I'm working under the assumption that instos have many hundreds of millions in capital at a minimum (I may be wrong and it may be billions). Are they really going to spend time accumulating small parcels, or do they wait for/negotiate placements at the companies they like?
