Neglecting a few fundamental things.
1) the announcement of merger with Jupiters will make them biggest co. in this sector in Australia.
Look at the chart - March 2003 - generally coincides with merger announcement - could be the end of the longterm downtrend and start of a long uptrend.
2) Co.s that successfully merge usually go up after the event - recently BPC etc
3) Even at $10.70 has a yield of 6% p.a
Below $9.00 - don't think so
