Yes, if you don't mind sitting on a plane for a few extra hours, I think its the best destination in SE asia. Their economy is also on its knees so any foreign tourists there are being treated like royalty just for the sake of some extra foreign pesos.

Getting back to QBE, do you think it will get to $20 later in the year? Or do you think that is too optimistic?

Never say never, but I think QBE hitting $20 this year is at the far end of the optimistic spectrum . I remember just before the covid crash it broke $15 for the first time in a number of years, and I think that would be a really good outcome if it got back up to that level this year. I can see this happening with a SCOMO victory and honeymoon period post election.

Just speaking from experience and being someone who suffered a lot of emotional trauma from this stock over the years, is that it has always dissapointed and frustrated - particularly the faithful long term holders. There has always been too many domestic and international risks that can and have negatively impacted this stock at different times on the calendar and I've learnt that if your patient and sit on some cash, you will be presented with great opportunities to top up. Even though the business seems to be leaner and streamlined now, there are lot of smart people on these QBE threads who seem to be happy to sit on the sidelines and wait for a better buying opportunity.
