Smart money are institutions like we saw credit suisse( investment banks), trading firms etc.
some buy and hold and some buy just to make a quick buck.
Credit suisse obviously bought and sold and made some good money they will likely want to trade again very soon.
One indicator is panic selling ( knowing they are now sold their trading parcel) and rinse and repeat
and they will now try to keep sub 5% so they dont need to expose their positions
It only takes another becoming a substantial holder to bring sentiment back to the stock imo
