I pegged several points of potential resistance throughout the course of yesterday's run. There were brief pauses at some of these points but the staggering volume spoke the loudest. The chart here shows only the ASX volume. Including Chi-X, there were well over one billion shares traded for the day. More than the entire register turned over in a day. More than half a billion shares traded under 3 cents. We are left to ponder when some profit taking will commence. Will people like the story enough to hold and allow new entrants to drive the price higher?
Like yesterday, I'll let volume guide decision making but I am very wary that the escalator could stop suddenly.
