I know the image, (which was taken from a highly powerful microscope) you are referencing. That was a before and after pic so to speak for the "eradication" of a particular reservoir containing a partucalr part of the HIV virus. combination of dAART and Bit-225 therapy.
I believe that if you were to read more into the information provided on the website you will better understand the situation developing.
It takes a long time to formulate a hypothesis. It takes a longer time to validate it with physical results and then further validate it to the market.
Basically and dont take my word for it. Biotron have created a new invasive construct to bring the fight to the virus.
