The impatient holders are likely selling due to being overcome by fear and the lack of short term gratification, but all the while believing in the longer term opportunity presented by the company. Ironically, if they were not selling, they would probably see the price rise, and thus have less fear and receive the gratification they're looking for. Still..the selling is good for liquidity and the ability to buy more shares at lower prices... so either way, it is a win-win for the long term holders with the right fortitude.
