We would need to partner at some stage in any case as small aussie biotechs arent set up to market and distribute effectively. You are correct in that it would be better to hold off and CR but this does come with some risk and sp dilution (ie drop).
A good deal for a region (US / EU) would certainly boost the SP significantly in the shorter term and avoid the need for a CR altogether. Although most investors would choose multi bags now rather than a potential 2x multibags in 18 months any time of the day
